Am Sonntagvormittag stand die Kirchenmusik im Gottesdienst der Martin-Luther-Kirche Sydney an. In dieser putzig kleinen Kirche haben wir vor zehn Jahren schon einmal ein Konzert gesungen. Highlight des Gottesdienstes: nicht nur die Hälfte der Gemeinde nahm über Zoom teil - auch die Predigt kam aus dem Wäscheschrank des Predigers.

On Sunday morning, we performed church music at the Martin Luther Church in Sydney. We had already sung a concert in this cute little church ten years ago. The highlight of the service: not only did half the congregation take part via Zoom - the sermon also came from the preacher's linen cupboard.

Am Nachmittag dann Premiere des Projekts DIETRICH B. vor ausverkauftem Saal in der Sydney Grammar School mit dem Sydney Chamber Choir unter Leitung von Sam Allchurch. Fast wären wir nicht dabei gewesen, weil wir im Parkhaus eingesperrt waren.
Schlussendlich aber ein wirklich bewegendes Konzert für uns alle auf und vor der Bühne. Das musste im Anschluss natürlich gefeiert werden.

In the afternoon, the premiere of the DIETRICH B. project in front of a sold-out audience at the Sydney Grammar School with the Sydney Chamber Choir under the direction of Sam Allchurch. We almost didn't make it because we were locked in the car park. In the end, however, it was a really moving concert for all of us on and in front of the stage. Of course, this had to be celebrated afterwards.
